Year 3 visit Cadbury World
🍫 Year 3’s Chocolate Adventure!
Year 3 had a fantastic visit to Cadbury World, bringing our Love of Reading text, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, to life! 📖🍫
As well as stepping into the wonderful world of chocolate, the children discovered fascinating facts about how chocolate is made – from cacao bean to chocolate bar. They learned about the journey of the cacao bean and the different stages involved in producing the chocolate we know and love.
The visit provided the perfect inspiration for our new English unit, where we will be using everything we discovered to write our own explanation texts all about ‘Bean to Bar’ and Fairtrade.
A brilliant day filled with reading, real-life experiences and lots of learning – with a little chocolate along the way! 🍫📚✨
