Year 1 had a fantastic day at Peak Wildlife Park where we were able to further embed our knowledge on types of animals, their habitats and their conservation, supporting our science focus. Children loved getting up close and personal with some of the animals such as lemurs and wallabies. We were fascinated by the wallabies carrying around their baby joeys in their pouch. Very cute! We loved learning all about how the animals are kept safe and comfortable in the park despite being so far from their native surroundings.
