Year 2KN visit Rhyl Seaside

We had a fabulous day at the seaside... just like holidays used to be in the past! We had a visit to the Seaquarium and saw all the fish and sea creatures that we might find when pond dipping. We then headed down to the beach where we built sandcastles and played with frisbees in the wind. We had a great time collecting shells and finding pebbles that had been washed up on the shore.

After eating our lunch (with lots of pesky seagulls watching us!) we headed back to the Seaquarium to watch the seal show, where Flo showed us all her tricks and reminded us why it's important to take care of our environment. Flo was superb, and even gave us a round of applause for listening so well! To end our day, we enjoyed an ice cream in the sun. We all agreed this was our favourite part of the day!
It's safe to say Year 2 enjoyed an old-fashioned day at the seaside!
