Harry Potter (Y5)
On Wednesday 1st March 2023, Year 5 visited the magical Harry Potter Studios in London as part of our English unit in which we are delving into the world of the first Harry Potter book – The Philosophers Stone.
As soon as you enter the Warner Brothers Studio, you are transported into the films of Harry Potter. We were able to to visit the different film sets, which included: The Great Hall, Diagon Alley, Privet Drive and so much more.
We also got to experience sitting on a broomstick as Daniel Radcliffe did in the films; we were able to take a closer look at the props they used, the different departments that were involved in making all of the films.
At the end of the experience, we had time to visit the enchanting gift shop and take some souvenirs home with us.
We had the best time at the Studios and cannot wait to go back to learning more about the World of Harry Potter.
