Reception visit Amerton Farm
We had a fabulous day at Amerton Farm. We started by feeding the baby lambs their milk, we had to hold the bottle really tight as they were so hungry. Then we had a tour of the farm where we fed the animals and learnt about them. There were sheep, horses, ponies, goats, rabbits, chickens donkey and reindeer. Did you know that male reindeer lose their antlers in the winter, and females lose theirs in the spring? Being a farmer is tiring work so we ended our day with a ride around the farm on a tractor... which we all loved!
