Y5 visit York
We walked through the historic city of York and arrived at the Jorvik centre. Here we got to look at some ancient Viking artefacts and go on a ride around a reconstruction of a Viking settlement. We then visited the Shambles to see what modern day York is like and how they have managed to showcase the city's history.
