Reaseheath Farm (Rec)
Reception visited Reaseheath to explore life on the Farm and all of the animals that live there.
We were so excited to see lots of new born baby animals and we were fortunate enough to be able to hold the new born baby lambs and spend time with the baby calves. We learnt all about who looks after the animals, what they eat, how they look after their young and what the animals provide us with; milk, eggs etc. We even had a look at the milking area to see how the milk initially comes from the cow to eventually being transported to the shops for us to buy.
During the afternoon we visited the zoological area of Reaseheath and saw so many different animals and creatures ranging from snakes, meerkat, otters, owls and wallaby's. Thank you to the lovely team at Reaseheath for a magical and fun filled day.
