Gladstone Pottery Museum (Y3)
Year 3 visited Gladstone Pottery Museum linked to their topic Loud and Proud.
During our visit we had a tour around the museum to see what it was like to work in a pottery factory in days gone by. We were able to meet people who work at the factory now and ask them questions about their role. It was amazing to see the complex jobs they have.
During the afternoon, we created our very own pot out of clay and we even learnt some techniques to add decoration to our pots. Year 3 had a fantastic time!
